The stress guard is a 360 rotational end fitting at both ends to reduce strain on the hose. They are made of carbon steel for durable construction.
When installing with caster-mounted equipment, Blue Hose Gas Connections should be paired with restraining devices to prevent transmission of the strain to the connector.
